In mid-January 2026 I got an email from Counsel Media, a production company that specializes in creating political ads for Democrat and Progressive candidates.
I only had 2 weeks to create both ads, and only 2 days to create a first draft of each. Since I was short on time I was very methodical about my process, which consisted of creating mood boards, sketching storyboards, and then animating (I would normally have created an animatic too, but there just wasn’t enough time).
I art directed, designed and animated these spots under a crazy deadline and I’m very proud of how they came out.
